Minlon Group of Companies was first founded with the purpose to bring quality haberdashery products to customers at affordable prices. It started as a retail shop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1979. Best noted for its retail name Macy Sdn Bhd, Macy has become a household name in Malaysia with its wide range of knitting and handicraft products.
Its headquarter is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Naming its headquarter Wisma Minlon, Minlon continues to consolidate its operations in Asia in the midst of its rapid expansion. Situated along Sungei Besi Expressway and adjacent to the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC), it is also in the neighborhood of Putrajaya where the government boards are, thus enjoy a very strategic location. Wisma Minlon is a 6-storey building with a futuristic silver façade and elegant interiors. The 500,000 sq. ft building comprises of office, warehouse and retail spaces.

Today, Minlon Group of Companies has outgrown its founders' initial dream. It is now a leading distributor and wholesaler of haberdashery products in Malaysia. Over time, it has established subsidiaries and offices over Malaysia. Its operations have also expanded from haberdashery products to industrial yarn, garment accessories, real estate and information technology.
Although Minlon has grown in size and stature, its founders' traits of diligence, dedication to customers and friendliness are still very much rooted in its staff. Minlon has always been proud of its staff's loyalty and dedication.
